Duster

duster is a reclusive experimental electronic slowcore(?) band consisting of two multi-instrumentalist members — ewing clay parton and canaan dove amber. parton sometimes appears as “e. parton”, “c. parton” or “clay”. amber sometimes appears as “c. amber”, “d. amber” or “dove”. jason albertini was also part of the band on some releases.

the band formed when parton and amber started recording themselves on cassette four track machines at home in the mid to late 1990s. they released a few records between 1997 and 2000, and then took a brief break until 2018. in 2019 they released a self-titled lp on muddguts, and numero group reissued all their previous records as the “capsule losing contact” box set. in 2022 they released their 4th LP, “together”.
